Blue Back Bunnies
We are a small rabbitry (formerly called Tort Reform Rabbitry) breeding to ARBA's Standard of Perfection for Holland Lops. This means that although we occasionally have 8-week-old babies available, we often grow out our rabbits into their "teen" years (3 to 6 months) in order to see how they develop before we decide to keep them for breeding or show, or to sell them as a beloved pet.

Broken Black Tortoiseshell Senior Buck
KenDar's SOS ("Percy")
Sire: L & R Stevie
Dam: L & R Susie
Born: May 28, 2020
Bred by Darcy Fast, Percy is out of L & R lines. Thanks to George of Rabbit Hollow for this guy! Hoping he is able to shorten the shoulder and body length in my herd. He is a beautiful animal with a patient and tender temperament. I LOVE this bunny! Carries REW. (Photo credit to Rabbit Hollow.)
Will consider retiring Percy soon if the right home comes along.

Tricolor Senior Buck
RLR's Lotad ("Snoopy")
Sire: RLR's Omanyte
Dam: RLR's Dratini
Born: October 20, 2024
Snoopy is a beautifully marked tricolor from Realm of Lapine Rabbitry in Pueblo, Colorado. I am very excited to reintroduce this color into my herd. Unfortunately he somehow gets urine stains in odd places and his "white" color looks like "cream"!

Broken Sable Point Senior Buck
Blue Back's Snowball
Sire: KenDar's SOS ("Percy")
Dam: Blue Back's Jethrine
Born: April 10, 2025
My first sable point! Snowball inherited the sable gene from Jethrine, who got it from Miracle Max, going back to Proud Ears lines. He also carries REW. He has a slightly longer shoulder than I'd like, but otherwise really nice.

Ruby-Eyed White Senior Buck
Blue Back's Yeti
Sire: Blue Back's Shadow
Dam: Blue Back's Tinkerbell
Born: July 5, 2025
Best of Breed, Harwinton Fair 10/4/25
Yeti is an albino rabbit. In Holland Lops, they are called ruby-eyed-whites. There is a tinge of blue in the eye, it's not completely pink. Yeti has a nice broad head and nice body. He has a similar topline to Percy, his grand-sire on both sides. He won best of breed as a young junior at the 2025 Harwinton Fair. Unposed adult pics taken 4.17.26.

Black Otter Junior Buck
Spade
Sire: RLR's Lotad ("Snoopy")
Dam: Blue Back's Queenie
Born: May 29, 2026
Spade is a black otter Holland Lop. He has markings like an otter: black on the back, white on the tummy, and tan rings around the mouth, eyes, nose, and nape of the neck. Spade had a little setback when he was weaned at 8 weeks, and lost a little weight, but he is back up to a healthy weight and is ready for his new home. He is a very docile and easy-to-hold bunny, super sweet! Pics taken August 21.

Broken Black Senior Doe
Pixie
Sire: ANR's Bullet
Dam: ANR's Snowberry
Born: April 21, 2022
Bred by Donna Richards. Doesn't love to pose, but has a beautiful head and compact body. Carries REW and fuzzy. I have decided to sell Pixie either to a pet home, or if someone wants to give a try breeding. She is tapering off; she's only had one kit the past couple of litters. New pics taken August 21, very molty dewlap!

Black Tortoiseshell Junior Buck
Tiny
Sire: Blue Back's Shadow
Dam: Blue Back's Tinkerbell
Born: March 7, 2026
Tiny is a small Holland Lop, but super cute! He was sold and then returned (thankfully!) because his owner realized he didn't have time to take care of a pet. I would love for him to have a great home that will care for him his whole life! He does not always like to be held, but he always loves to be pet (he likes head rubs while lying on the ground). Pics taken August 21.
